Every tool on this page changes, measures or explains the pitch, key or tempo of a song, voice or video, and all of them run free in your browser.
For most songs the main pitch changer is enough: open a file, shift it by semitones, keep the speed, download. When the job is more specific, such as a video you want back as an MP4, a karaoke track, a chord sheet or a slower practice copy, pick the matching tool below. There are 22, grouped by what they do.
Find the right tool in one click
- A video file, and you want a video back? Use the Video Pitch Changer.
- Singing along to a YouTube video? Use the YouTube Pitch Changer.
- Karaoke track too high or too low? Use the Karaoke Pitch Changer.
- You know the key you want, like G to E? Use the Online Key Changer.
- Learning a fast part and need it slower, same key? Use Change Speed Without Changing Pitch.
- Only chords or a song sheet, no recording? Use Transpose Music Online.

Questions about choosing a tool
What is the difference between a pitch changer and a key changer?
None in the sound. Both move every note by the same number of semitones and keep the tempo. A pitch changer asks how many semitones; the Online Key Changer detects the key and lets you choose the new one by name, such as G to E (−3). Use whichever way you think.
Which tools keep the tempo?
All the song, voice and video pitch tools keep the speed by default. Only the Pitch and Tempo Changer can link pitch and speed like a record, and Change Pitch Without Changing Speed plays both versions side by side so you can hear the difference.
Which tool do I use for chords instead of a recording?
Transpose Music Online moves a chord sheet to a new key, and the Major to Minor Converter changes the mode. Both work on chords you type or paste. For a recording, use one of the audio tools.
How do I find the right key for my voice?
Start with the Vocal Range Test, which names your three best keys. Find the song’s current key with the Song Key Finder, count the shift with the Semitone Calculator, then move the song with the Online Key Changer or the Karaoke Pitch Changer.
Why does the YouTube tool not work on my phone?
It needs Chrome or Edge on a computer, because it changes the sound of the playing tab live. On a phone, in Safari or in Firefox, open a file you have the rights to in the Audio or Video Pitch Changer instead.
Are the tools free, and is my audio uploaded?
All 22 are free and need no sign-up. Files and microphone sound are processed by your browser on your own device, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
Guides behind the tools
Five short reads that explain what the tools measure and change:
- Pitch vs tempo: why key and speed are separate, and how a record links them.
- Key change vs pitch change: one operation, two ways of describing it.
- What semitones are: the unit every tool here counts in; one semitone raises the frequency by about 5.95 %.
- The circle of fifths: which keys are neighbours, for mixing and modulation.
- How to change the key of a song: from finding the key to exporting the new version.

How these tools work
Each tool processes sound on your device, so your files stay with you. How the tools are built and measured is on how it works, who is behind the site on about us, and data handling in the privacy policy. If a file will not open or play, see troubleshooting.
