This policy explains what personal data onlinepitchchanger.com (Online Pitch Changer) handles, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the tools never upload your audio, video or voice; the site shows no ads and sells nothing; Google Analytics runs only if you accept it; and the rest is what every web server receives, plus any email you choose to send.
Who is responsible for your data
Online Pitch Changer is run independently by one person, Mayer, who decides how the site handles personal data (the “controller” under the GDPR). On this page “we” and “us” mean Mayer as the operator of the site. There is no company, team or partner behind it.

What we never collect
- No accounts, sign-ups, logins, newsletters, comment forms or contact forms. Contact is by email only.
- No advertising: no ad networks, no ad cookies, no affiliate links, no sponsored content. Nothing is sold.
- No payment details. Every tool is free.
- No copies of your files, recordings or results. The tool code makes no network requests with your media and saves nothing in your browser’s storage.
If advertising or any new data use is ever added, this page and the Cookie Policy will be updated first, before it goes live.
Your audio, video and voice
All tools run inside your browser. A file you open is read from your device into the page’s memory, processed there and offered back as a download; it never reaches our server. Microphone tools such as the Vocal Range Test work only after you allow microphone access in your browser, and you can revoke it at any time in the site settings of your browser. Closing the tab deletes everything the tool held.
The YouTube Pitch Changer never downloads a video. It plays the video in YouTube’s own player, and the live pitch change uses the sound of this browser tab after you allow tab sharing. How each kind of tool handles your input is described step by step on the Data Security page.
Google Analytics and the consent banner
The site uses Google Analytics 4, connected through Google’s Site Kit plugin for WordPress. When you first visit, a consent banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you accept, no Google Analytics cookies are set. Google’s tag can still load and, under Google Consent Mode, send basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was opened; if you decline, it stays that way.
If you accept, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser type, an approximate location and interactions it measures automatically, such as scrolling and clicks on links to other sites. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Video measurement is switched off for this site, so Google Analytics does not record which YouTube video you play. We use the reports to decide which tools and guides to improve, not to identify anyone.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is explained in Google’s own statement.
Legal bases (GDPR and UK GDPR)
- Consent: Google Analytics. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing before you withdrew.
- Legitimate interests: server logs and security, delivering fonts, and replying to your emails. Our interest is running a working, secure site and answering the people who write to us.
- Providing the service you asked for: the YouTube player loads only after you paste a link and press the button to load it. YouTube decides itself how it uses the data it receives.

Who receives data and where
Only the service providers listed above: Google (Analytics, Fonts, YouTube player), our web host and our email provider. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising. Google runs servers around the world, so this data may be processed outside your country, for example in the United States; its practices are in the Google Privacy Policy.
How long data is kept
- Tool input and results: not kept at all. They exist only in your open tab.
- Google Analytics: kept by Google under the data retention setting of this site’s Analytics account. Cookie lifetimes are listed on the Cookie Policy.
- Server logs: kept by our web host for its standard log period.
- Emails: kept as long as needed to answer you and follow up on what you reported. Ask us and we delete them.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. The tools need no personal data. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, write to support@vocaltoollab.com and we will delete it.
Security
Every page is served over HTTPS, and plain http addresses redirect to https. Because your files never leave your device, there is no stored media that could leak from our side. The Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using the tools.
Changes to this policy
When tools, providers or data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. The date is not changed when nothing changed. Questions: support@vocaltoollab.com.
